MiraBot Firmware v1.1 WiFi Beta & MiraPlay AiO v1.7.0 Release Announcement

Today we are pleased to announce an important upgrade to both MiraBot firmware and MiraPlay AiO, bringing a new connection architecture and expanded WiFi/UDP support that many users have been looking forward to.

This update represents a significant step toward a more open and flexible ecosystem for both MiraBot devices and OSR-based platforms.

MiraBot Firmware v1.1 (WiFi Beta)

The WiFi firmware beta is now available and can be flashed using our online tool.

Available for

  • Generic OSR2+ / SR6 users
  • DIY builders
  • Users interested in testing UDP connectivity

Official WiFi Firmware Release

The official production firmware and WiFi-enabled MiraBot S6/Lite hardware are scheduled for release on March 1.

Existing MiraBot BLE users will be able to upgrade using a dedicated upgrade tool once the official firmware becomes available.

MiraPlay AiO v1.7.0

This version introduces a new connection architecture with expanded device compatibility.

Supported Devices

  1. Current BLE MiraBot S6/Lite and upcoming WiFi versions
  2. OSR2+ / SR6 running MiraBot firmware v1.1 (BLE or WiFi) — detected as MiraBot devices in the app
  3. WiFi-enabled OSR2+ / SR6 running third-party firmware

TCodeESP32 firmware has been tested and performs well.
Other firmware may also be compatible and users are encouraged to experiment.

WiFi-enabled S6/Lite units will be available starting March 1 with out-of-box support.

Bluetooth LE vs WiFi — Choosing the Right Connection

Bluetooth LE

Recommended for users without a stable network environment or those who prefer quick direct phone connections with minimal setup.

WiFi

Recommended for users with stable networks who want UDP compatibility with software such as MFP or VaM.

Please note that when switching networks, SSID and password must be updated using the WiFi setup tool.

WiFi MiraBot Launch (March 1)

Official release of WiFi-enabled S6/Lite hardware.

Online Play Major Upgrade

The current custom motion system will be replaced with a standalone funscript player featuring:

  • Built-in browser download with one-click playback
  • Playback of motions recorded in Gesture Sync
  • FTP transfer (PC → phone)

Combined with the integrated browser, this will enable flexible playback of media and scripts from multiple platforms, significantly expanding usability.
